Some of the components of our Galloway holistic veterinary medicine include:
Chiropractic Treatment
Chiropractic treatment is the process of manipulating and adjusting your pet’s joints, skeleton, and spine. As a minimally invasive treatment option, it can be ideal for addressing everything from hip dysplasia to degenerative joint disease in patients of all ages. Dr. Michel will work with you to determine if our chiropractic care is ideal for your pet, as it can complement many of our other holistic veterinary care options.
Pet Rehabilitation
Whether your dog is showing signs of a limp from an injury or your cat has just undergone major surgery, our practice is here for you. We’re proud to offer pet rehabilitation as part of our holistic veterinary services. Our experienced and gentle staff will work to help your pet recover correctly, improve their mobility, and boost their overall quality of life.
Stem Cell Therapy & Platelet-Rich Plasma
Two components of our holistic veterinary care include stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma or PRP. Stem cell therapy is the process of using stem cells to repair damaged or diseased tissue in your pet’s body. PRP, however, uses your pet’s own blood to create plasma and platelets to be injected into injury sites. Both treatments are minimally invasive and can have beneficial effects on your beloved companion.
Medical Ozone Therapy
As part of our holistic pet services, we’re proud to offer medical ozone therapy. Ozone is an activated form of oxygen that neutralizes bacteria, minimizes or eliminates pain, and reduces inflammation. At Galloway Veterinary Wellness, we offer ozone therapy as a standalone holistic service or in combination with many of our other services. Dr. Michel will break down the benefits of ozone therapy and help you confidently decide if it’s right for your pet.
Dogosteroneā¢
This unique therapy involves the injection of testosterone into your pet to increase specific hormone levels. Dogosterone is ideal for both male and female dogs who have either been neutered or spayed. For example, treatment can help increase muscle mass and boost bone density, which can prove beneficial for dogs suffering from mobility issues caused by bone degradation.
